A considerable number of delegations of Jewish organizations attended the funeral today of Paul Painleve, French statesman and mathematician, who died Sunday.
A number of representatives of Zionist organizations, soldiers’ unions and the Committee for the Defense of Jewish Refugees, of which M. Painleve was the president, attended the rites. Many flags and banners were in evidence.
