(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Zionist and Conservative delegates on the board of the Berlin Kehillah combined to oppose the influence of the Liberals who held the power in the Berlin communal board for many years.

The Zionists together with the Conservatives control eleven votes against the ten of the Liberals. A similar situation prevails in the Federation of Jewish Communities in Prussia.

Liberal leaders voiced their complaint at this political combine, declaring that unless the community work is carried on in a spirit of cooperation instead of “blind blocking” everything suggested by the Liberals in the two bodies, Jewish communal life will be disrupted in Prussia.
