The administrative committee of the Zionist Organization of America decided at a meeting yesterday to participate in election of delegates to the World Jewish Congress at an electoral convention in Washington next June.
Louis Lipsky and Dr. Stephen S. Wise urged support of next August’s congress, while Dr. A. J. Rongy opposed it. The committee voted 27 to 3 for participation. Providence, R. I., was chosen for the thirty-ninth annual convention of the Z.O.A., the date for which was not set although the committee favored July 5 to 7.
