Yuschenko holds meeting on anti-Semitism |

Published: 11/18/2007 Ukraine President Viktor Yuschenko discussed anti-Semitism in his country with the state prosecutor general. In their meeting Friday, Yuschenko and Oleksandr Medvedko spoke about investigations of anti-Semitic offenses. Yuschenko emphasized that he wanted to present “a clear position of the Ukrainian state regarding offenses concerned with manifestations of anti-Semitism.”
Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, acting chief of the Security Service of Ukraine, and Ihor Pukshyn, Yuschenko’s deputy chief of staff, also participated in the meeting.
