Jewish teens from Westchester county in New York help build houses in La Francia de Ticuantepe, Nicaragua, Feb. 21.
Aching from lugging cinder blocks and not having seen a flush toilet in days, a group of Jewish teenagers from the New York City suburbs could have been forgiven for complaining about building simple houses in a rural Nicaraguan outpost. But the only complaints they offered were about their own upper-middle-class lifestyles back home and the short duration of their stay.
