Israel's supporters should
push for talks with Iran

President Bush says the United States should continue isolating Iran, but others are calling for renewed diplomacy following the release of the National Intelligence Estimate that found Iran halted a secret nuclear weapons program in 2003.
The strategy of using international sanctions and military threats to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions has failed. Israel and the United States must realize they have a lot more to gain from talking to Iran than isolating it.
