paving the way for terror victim lawsuits
The families of the victims of terrorist attacks in Israel lobbying on Capitol Hill on Feb. 13, 2008, against reported government plans to intervene in their efforts to force the Palestinian Authority to pay out law suit awards.
Families of terror victims got the green light to pursue lawsuits against the Palestinian Authority thanks to a personal lobbying blitz as well as quiet diplomacy by U.S. lawmakers and the pro-Israel lobby.
