Conversion deal with Chief Rabbinate
could diminish a major Jewish rift
Moshe Kletenik is the religious leader of Bikur Cholim-Machzikay Hadath Congregation in Seattle and the Rosh Beth Din of the Pacific Northwest Regional Beth Din for Conversion.
The Rabbinical Council of America and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel have reached a deal with the potential to diminish the severity of the Orthodox divisions over conversion, while still maintaining reasonable standards.
