As civilian casualties mount, some
ask if soldiers getting trigger-happy

When Israel tried to bulldoze a building that it believed was being used by Palestinian terrorists, a 23-year-old American pro-Palestinian activist who apparently wanted to serve as a human shield was killed. Critics increasingly question whether 30 months of grinding warfare have eroded Israeli soldiers’ sense of restraint.
