700 lobby for Israel
NORPAC drew 700 activists to Washington to lobby Congress on Israel’s behalf.The New Jersey-based political action committee drew activists from across the country Wednesday for nearly 500 scheduled meetings. The activists are touting four legislative initiatives: U.S. funding for Israel; isolating Iran; bringing genocide charges against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad; and U.S.-Israel energy cooperation.
