Romney: world faces Holocaust-like evil
Mitt Romney said Democrats fail to recognize that the world faces evil unseen since the Holocaust.
Democrats are “uncomfortable in recognizing the evil in the world,” Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and a leading contender for the Republican presidential candidacy, was quoted by the Denver Post as telling a Republican event in Colorado Springs, Colo. on Wednesday. “I don’t think the world has seen the face of evil like this since the days of Hitler’s Holocaust ovens.”
Romney said President Bush has “made America safe” since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
