Actor drops in on pro-Israel group
Michael J. Fox expressed his appreciation for Israeli scientific achievements in a surprise visit to a meeting of a pro-Israel group.
The television and screen actor was attending a meeting at a New York investment bank Tuesday night when he dropped in on a meeting of Fuel For Truth’s Boot Camp, a training program for pro-Israel activists.
Fox, who is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, noted that his organization funds a lot of research in Israel.
“Disease is a non-partisan issue,” Fox said. “We just look to whoever can help. What we are really about is getting people together to talk.”
