Settler kills Palestinian protester
An Israeli settler killed a Palestinian protester in the West Bank.
A Neriya resident fired on scores of Palestinian youths demonstrating Monday near the settlement east of Ramallah, part of continued protests against Israel’s recent offensive in the Gaza Strip, after coming under a barrage of rocks.
Palestinians said a 17-year-old suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
Israeli police took the settler into custody for questioning.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, at least three Israeli soldiers were injured in confrontations with stone-throwing protesters.
