Roadblocks removed in Hebron area
Ten Israeli road blocks have been removed in the Hebron area over the last few weeks, the IDF said.
About 100 IDF checkpoints were removed in recent months in the West Bank, the spokesman said.
The removal is part of a plan to ease movement of the Palestinian population in the West Bank. U.S. officials pressed for the moves, which were authorized by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi.
