Iran to hold three-day war drill
Iran’s military will hold three days of war games, the Iranian media reported.
Involving both the Revolutionary Guards and the regular military, the drill is scheduled to start Monday and will focus on Iran’s anti-aircraft defense systems, according to the Iranian Students’ News Agency.
The exercise comes as speculation persists that either Israel or the United States will launch a pre-emptive airsrike on Iran’s nuclear plant, which is suspected of carrying out a nuclear arms program. Iran denies the charge, saying its nuclear program is being used only to produce energy.
