Democrat Rahm Emanuel was re-elected to his Illinois House seat, but left Congress to serve in the Obama administration as White House chief of staff.
U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler stepped down mid-term and was replaced by Ted Deutsch.
Two people who were appointed to fill Senate vacancies, Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) and Ted Kaufman (D-Del.), have Jewish roots, but do not identify as Jewish.
