Palestinian terrorist’s home sealed
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- The home of the eastern Jerusalem Palestinian who killed eight yeshiva students last March has been sealed.
The two floors of a four-story house in which the terrorist lived were filled in with cement on Monday following a legal battle over the punishment.
Alaa Abu Dahim shot and killed eight students at the Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
Israel's Supreme Court on Jan. 5 ruled that the military's decision to seal off the home was justified. Dahim's father had argued in court that the Home Front Command had no authority to issue the order, and that the military had changed its home-demolition policy in 2005.
