Outpost evacuated, settlers arrested
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Six Jewish settlers from a West Bank outpost were arrested for throwing stones at Palestinian cars after another Jewish outpost was evacuated.
Israeli police on Thursday afternoon demolished five illegal structures at the Maoz Esther outpost near the Kochav Hashachar settlement, which is located about 18 miles from Jerusalem.
Following the evacuation, residents of the Gilad Farm outpost near Kedumim in the West Bank allegedly began throwing stones at Palestinian cars. During the arrest some outpost residents attempted to run over police with cars, Ynet reported.
