Tel Aviv apartment sells for $26.8 million
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- A Tel Aviv apartment sold recently is the most expensive ever sold in Israel.
The duplex penthouse sold for 110 million shekel, or about $26.8 million, to a Russian Jewish oligarch, Israel's business daily Globes reported Tuesday.
The penthouse is located on the beach in Tel Aviv near the Dolphinarium, the site of a Palestinian terror attack in 2001. It is part of an apartment block that has been under construction since 2006 and is scheduled to be completed in 2011.
