Israeli police close P.A. media center
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- The Israeli police closed down a Palestinian media center in East Jerusalem.
The center closed on Monday had been set up for the visit by Pope Benedict XVI, according to The New York Times.
An Israeli law bars any activity of the Palestinian Authority in Jerusalem or the State of Israel. Other P.A. activities in the city have been shut down under the law.
