Arson suspected in forest fire near Jerusalem
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Arson is suspected in a large forest fire blazing in the mountains near Jerusalem.
Some 15 firefighting teams, including from areas such as Tel Aviv and Herzliya, are battling the raging fire that began Thursday, according to Ynet.
The fire began in three spots, leading fire officials to suspect arson.
Meanwhile, six fires broke out during the course of one hour Thursday evening near Safed in northern Israel.
