Israel considering foreign gov’t funding NGOs

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government reportedly is considering legislation that would ban foreign government funding of some non-governmental organizations.

Ron Dermer, a senior adviser to Netanyahu, called such contributions "blatant and unacceptable," the Post reported.
