Palestinian teen hit by Israeli army jeep dies
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- A Palestinian teenager died after being hit by an Israeli army jeep, which the army said was accidental and the Palestinians said was intentional.
The Israel Defense Forces said the boy, 17, was hit accidentally Wednesday during a stone-throwing incident near Jenin in the West Bank. The Palestinians said the teen was hit intentionally, according to reports.
The incident occurred while Israeli soldiers were accompanying officials from Israel's Mekorot water company to look for ways to improve water infrastructure in the area, according to Ynet.
