January record month for tourists to Israel
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- A record number of tourists visited Israel in January.
Some 212,000 tourists arrived last month, a 62 percent increase over the previous January and a high for the month, according to the Tourism Ministry.
Israel is working to bring an additional 1 million tourists per year for the next three years, Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov said Tuesday at the 16th annual International Mediterranean Tourism Market in Tel Aviv
