Rihanna takes stage in Tel Aviv
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- R&B singer Rihanna performed in Israel for the first time.
Rihanna's concert on Sunday night was part of her "Last Girl on Earth" European tour. Audience members had to participate in four hours of volunteer activity in order to receive tickets to the show at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. About 10,000 fans received tickets to the concert.
The star spent the weekend before her show touring in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. On Saturday night she helped Scouts and volunteers in Tel Aviv to paint the walls of their meeting center. In Jerusalem, she visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall, where she put a note between its cracks.
