Jewish text animation group launches summer residency
NEW YORK (JTA) -- The popular Jewish animation outfit G-dcast is launching an artists' residency program in San Francisco.
The residency, to be held at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in August, will bring together six animators and six storytellers to adapt Jewish texts into films.
"The goal is to give young artists a chance to practice their craft in a Jewish space," Sarah Lefton, G-dcast's executive director, said in a news release.
