A life-size bronze statue of Hungarian politician Balint Homan, who called for the deportation of Jews during World War II, is scheduled to be erected this month.
Balint Homan participated in drafting legislation that restricted the rights of Hungary’s Jews and called for their deportation, the lawmakers wrote to the prime minister of Hungary.
