International Fellowship of Christians and Jews cancels plans for Jerusalem outreach center

Work had already started on the $60 million, seven-story building.

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein raised millions in Christian donations for Israel. Now the late activist’s daughter steps into his shoes.

The elder Eckstein, founder and president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, died earlier this month at age 67, leaving his daughter to run an organization that raises about $130 million a year.
