Israel accused a Red Crescent ambulance of not stopping to help the victims of a West Bank shooting after determining they were Jewish-Israelis and not Palestinians.
Speaking at a Geneva event marking the liberation of Nazi death camps, Peter Maurer said his group “failed as a humanitarian organization because it lost its moral compass.”
