The Jewish community’s chief rabbi has urged the government to punish China for what many consider a genocide as the pope and other Christian leaders remain mum on the issue.
“Just carving out that tradition, that bit of faith on Friday is incredibly important,” said the Labour leader, who is trying to turn the page on an anti-Semitism controversy that haunted his party for years.
