The elementary school, which grabbed headlines in 2013 when the city Department of Education gave it an âFâ grade, earned high marks in the most recent round of state tests.
The renewal came just a year and a half after New York City’s Department of Education gave the school an F in its annual grading of city schools, though advocates of the school argued at the time that the grade was misleading.
