Some of the Jewish Council Index Cards, which the Red Cross gave to a Jewish museum, contain references to the personal traits of those killed by the Nazis.
The documents, which a historian for Amsterdam's Jewish museum said were a 'specatcular find,' were discovered in a suitcase that Jews stashed away before being sent to their deaths.
