The newly elected Council of People’s Commissaries of Soviet Russia include only one Jew, Leo Kameneff, who has been elected second Vice-President, besides Leon Trotzky, whose brother-in-law he is.
Jewish students are being excluded from the regular classes of the university as well as from the lecture halls, in consequence of the demands advanced by the Roumanian section of the student body requiring the university authorities to rigidly adhere to the percent norm against Jewish students.
