Pollard's attorney argued that the terms are overly severe because Pollard cannot remember the classified information he provided three decades ago to Israeli officials and he is not a flight risk.
In an impromptu interview in New York, Pollard wished his supporters in Israel a "Shanah Tovah," or Happy New Year, ahead of the Rosh Hashanah holiday.
