A lemon is a lemon but an Etrog is a citron, how sweet it is, never knew that
Posted in: Irish comic takes heat for Jewish rant
I thank Anne Cunningham for her sensitivity and sensibility but she needn't apologize for all Irish. We should not stereotype the Irish any more than the Jews. Too bad Tiernan doesn't do more of his act by singling out the "Brits" and their endless persecution of the Irish, particularly Northern Ireland. Like all fads Tiernan will ultimately be laughed off the stage and rervert back to the cave which he managed to escape from.
Posted in: Spain indicts 3 alleged Nazi guards
Interesting story. It further adds to our "ex-nazis" having to watch over their shoulders and toss and turn in their beds in fear of being caught. This is a major event in the history of Spain and it's treament of the Jews, lest we forget where the "Spanish Inquisition" originated. B'a Shalom, L'a Shana Tova
Posted in: Israel's settlement announcement irks negotiators, but unlikely to derail process
when is enough, enough? Since 1948 the only outpost of democracy and civility and yes technical expertise has been the state of Israel. The bottom line is the inability of the neighboring arab states to tolerate a Jewish entity in their midst. The only land that has been given up was done by Israel. If Gaza is any example of the arabs turning fertile land with greenhouses and all the tools to become economically sufficient into a sandbox, they sure screwed that up. Instead it gave more of an opportunity to fire their missiles into southern Israel, specifically the city of Sderot. The arabs don't understand the Israeli mentality which is willing to negotiate for peace but not their security and existence. What other country wins a war and must sue for the peace. The UN is about useless being a hot-bed of arab intrigue and intransigence. Until the arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews, this will go nowhere.

What is with this "Mussa"? Evidently he's suffering from a lack of attention but he sure attempts to obtain it this way. How insulting can one human being be toward another. Were i the editor of this blog I think some standards of behavior should be applied since I find Mussa's utterings disturbing.
Posted in: Justice Dept. seeks to deport Nazi collaborator
Well said Cheryl. Although a bit violent and extreme, the fact that these "closet" nazis have been permitted to live a wonderful life in this great country is outrageous. It evokes anger and violence toward them. I get tired of the extenders of sympathy toward Kalymon and his ilk, that "they're old men and should be left alone". Too bad, cases like this should raise the fear level in these low-lifes still living in the US and other countries, hiding behind the goodness of those who value life and its quality. Their behavior and participation in taking the lives of those incapable of fighting back will continue to demand that they be held accountable, until they draw their last, and putrid breath.
Posted in: Ahmadinejad to speak at General Assembly
This "Mussa Aliwat" I have been trying to figure what genre he represents: Arab, Jew, Semite, anti-Semite, world traveller, closet idiot or what. His rantings just don't make sense. He surely is entitled to his opinion but what is it? As Barney Frank, (D. Mass) congressman from Massachusetts told a devotee of Linden LaRouche, another babbling idiot, when she raised and equated President Obama's Health Plan to Nazism: "Madam, trying to debate you would be like trying to talk to a table", Too many of these blogs provide space to those who only enjoy seeing their names (real or imagined) in print. Any opportunity to engage in civil debate, means listening to what others are saying. Get a life
Posted in: Israeli university prof calls for boycott
Just thinking out loud, if Prof Gordon made a similar statement about the palestinians not being interested in peace with Israel but to devour Israel a bite at a time. Were this said in most of the arab countries surrounding Israel his fate would hardly continue as a university academic but rather never to be seen again, cooling his degrees in a inaccessbile hole in the ground. What an ingrate. I wonder where his ideas came from and what he owes to the state of Israel who has protected him and his ideas, although not what my ideas would be. He really makes a laughing stock out of himself, but Israel's enemies probably adore him and his utterings.
Posted in: Huckabee on evangelicals, Palestinian state
Where are all these "contributors" getting their "facts or fictions" from? Alot of it sounds like hearsay to me and not worth the paper it's printed on. Israel needs all the positive support it can get, and as an American Jew I resent Huckabee's statement that the Evangelicals care more about Eretz Y'israel then we Jews do. With "friends" like him, who needs enemies. Huckabee misses the point when he claims that American Jews are divided over what is in Israel's best interest in attaining peace and security. We are not a homogeneous people but very heterogeneous, however most Jews I know of are unwavering in their support for Israel and what is in their best interest is of extreme interest to us.

As with most "rap" (or crap) music, since I couldn't understand the lyrics due to the singers having a mouthful of marbles or dreck in their mouths. It certainly is drawing attention and the fact that there are Jewish students who are offended by this drivel is good enough for me to hope that no buyers appear on the scene.
