The Vatican is saying, we didn't do anything but, neither did anyone else do anything to save Jews. Not anything new, we already new this.
Posted in: Sarkozy: Israeli attack on Iran would be 'catastrophe'
Myron J., you are absolutely correct. The French thought it would be a catastrophe to to defend their country by fighting the Germans in WWII. The want every one to capitulate in the name of peace at any price.

Mr. Edwards, was the comparison to Mr. Rogers necessary? My comments were to the point and without invective.

Didier Spaier is only part correct. France helped Israel get the necessary raw materials. But Israeli scientists helped France develop its atomic bomb. Also, during WWII France was a Nazi collaborationist state that rounde up its Jews for deportation before they were told to. No one should ever listen to France or be dependent on it.

Stuart, I would delete from your list Richard Nixon, John McLaughlin, Sen. George Allen, Jr., but would add General George S. Patton, Jr.

Rocky you are 100% correct. We don't eat that kind of food any more and that is why so many Jewish Deli's have closed. The NYT in a recent article pointed out, that in 1950, there were over 300 Jewish Deli's in the New York Metropolitan area. Today there are less than 50.
