ari h, polls showing 6% and 4% of Israelis think Obama is pro-israel are readily availbable at the Jerusalem Post website - a very moderate newspaper. (and by the way, 9% ain't much better). just to point out - George W. Bush reached 88%. people obviously object to his views on domestic issues and are attacking him because of that. extremeliy clever and sneaky of them. who would ever know! and absolutely not, I do not presume them to be proud Jews at all. not saying they can't be, but unfortunately, they are not. They keep no semblance of Judaism and prioritize numerous issues ahead of issues most affecting the Jewish People. This is well known, but enjoy life in your utopian cave.

Rep Cantor is a fine man and proud Jew. To suggest otherwise show's pettiness and/or ignorance. 4% of the Israeli public think Mr. Obama is pro-Israel. Rep Cantor defines himself as pro-Israel and is in line (on this issue) with 96% of Israelis. Maybe those hating on Cantor might want to reconsider their hateful words for a many that does so much good, especially during this time of year!

david, I think you and tamir are the ones with the condition. you're both wrong -numerous places in Israel are built without all the permits in place and the settlers are not all all "wackjobs", unless of course you consider all religious Jews to be "wackjobs", which would bump you up from a fool to and outright ignorant anti-semite! tamir is just looking for attention, but she should realize that she's getting plenty from everyone still laughing at her recent electoral accomplishments. The Settlers are BUILDING Israel and deserve our praise and support!

great idea tommy boy. maybe we should go ahead and give them a chance to fire a few missiles at Israel as well. Who knows, maybe they won't work. maybe its all a bluff. we'll never know if we don't give them a chance. written exactly like someone might write from the comfort of not being in range of the missiles. and its not like tommy boy not to criticize the Jewish settlements - maybe he's scared of Yom Kippur on that one. not a good idea to take on the holiest of Jews this time of year!

Jews should absolutely GO to Hebron! not because this crazy lady says to, but because its the first Jewish Land in Israel and where our holy ancestors are buried. Not only that, but its a privelege to be able to speak to the amazing Jewish People that currently live there. Instead of speaking with the arabs there (dangerous), maybe a good idea to head over to the Jewish cemetary and see what their real intentions for the future are for relations with the Jewish People. the arabs will lie, but those graves won't! The New York Mets are wonderful organization and should be commended for their consistent support of the Jewish Community. We owe them our thanks and gratitude, however not as much as we do the amazing Jewish residents of the Holy City of Hebron for safeguarding such a vital place for the Jewish People! This is an amazing event and deserves everyone's support! The Mets have already made their contribution, have you?
