British Copyright Act of 1911 Extended to Palestine

By an order in Council, the “Copyright Act of 1911” has been extended to Palestine, subject to the following modificiations:

“In the application to existing works under the provisions of Sections 19 (7), 19 (8) and 24 of the Copyright Act of 1911, the 1st day of October, 1920, shall be substituted for the commencement of the Act wherever that expression occurs; and the date of the order for the 26th day of July 1910, in Section 24 (1) (b).

The Copyright Act of 1911 will go into effect in Palestine as from the 21st day of March, 1924.
