The order of the Latvian Minister of the Interior to deport to Soviet Russia those refugees, who are still in Latvia and who have not yet been able to receive American visas, has been postponed at the request of the Jewish deputies of the Latvian Parliament.

Upon a motion introduced by the Bundist Deputy Maisel, the Parliament requested the government to prepare, by the first of October, a draft of a law removing the difficulties of acquiring Latvian citizenship for those who were born in Latvia, but who later lived in other parts of Russia.
