A Jewish interpellation was made today by the Jewish Sejm Club against an order of the Polish Minister of Religions and Education. The Minister of Religions and Education, in setting the date for the first meeting of the newly elected Kehillah Council of Warsaw, at the same time ordered that the meetings of this Council be held behind closed doors, and that the deliberations should be carried on in the Polish language.

The Jewish Sejm Deputies pointed out that this order of the Minister is a direct violation of the Polish Constituion and of the international minorities treaty guaranteeing the rights of minorities to the use of their own languages.
