The Hakoah, Jewish football team of Vienna, scored a signal victory here on Friday in the game with the British Army team of selected men. The score was 3 to 1. Ten Thousand turned out to witness the encounter, including Sir Herbert Samuel, High Commissioner for Palestine, who, amidst enthusiastic cheers, thanked the Hakoah. It will be recalled that the Hakoah beat the well-known English team, “Westham” and that victory followed victory during their trip to Egypt and Palestine.
