Deputy M. Frostig, a member of the Club of Jewish Deputies, has intervened with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, M. Skrzynski, to ask for facilities for the Jews who are Polish citizens still resident in Russia to return to Poland. Large numbers of Polish Jews, he said, were evacuated to the interior of Russia during the War and have not had an opportunity of returning to their homes. Some time ago, he said, he had introduced an interpellation on the subject, and the Chairman of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Fombski, had given assurances that the question would be settled shortly in a way favorable to the Jews. Deputy Frostig urged that all possible steps should be taken to enable Polish citizens now resident in Russia to return to Poland.
