Representatives of American Jewry who are endeavoring to cope with the problem of stranded Jewish refugees in the various ports of Europe were invited to send a delegation to Palestine to convince themselves of the possibilities of settling the refugees in Palestine.

The invitation was extended by the Palestine Zionist Executive in a cable to Mr. Louis Marshall and Dr. Stephen S. Wise, heading the American Emergency Committee on Jewish Refugees, according to Mr. Louis Lipsky, President of the Zionist Organization of America, in an interview with the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Mr. Lipsky further declared that the Zionist Executive intends to establish a special department for dealing with middle-class immigrants.

The headquarters of the Palestine Foundation Fund, which is now in London, will be transferred to Palestine before the Zionist Congress convenes, according to Mr. Lipsky.
