Herbert Hoover, Secretary of Commerce, has accepted an invitation extended to him by Herman Bernstein, editor of the “Jewish Tribune”, acting on behalf of the Ort Campaign Committee, to speak at a banquet opening the New York Ort Campaign.
This is the first time the Secretary of Commerce has agreed to address a Jewish banquet.
