Five Thousand Attend Dr. Scheinkin’s Funeral in Tel Aviv

The funeral of Dr. M. M. Scheinkin, Zionist leader who was killed in a street car accident in Chicago, took place here today in the presence of five thousand persons.

Rabbis Arnson and Uziel, Mayor Dizngof and Dr. Rosenbaum, former minister of Jewish Affairs in the Lithuanian government, eulogized the dead leader.

An appeal for the general observance of Golden Rule Day was made by Henry Morgenthau, former American Ambassador to Turkey, in an address broadcast from Station WEAF on behalf of the International Refugee Loan Commission, which is working among the refugees of Greece and the Near East.
