Aaron Scheinman, formerly director of the Russian State Bank, was appointed Commissar for Internal Trade.

Construction of the $5,000,000 Jewish seminary and college, the Yeshiva of America, which will be built on Amsterdam Avenue between 186th and 188th Streets, New York, will be in charge of a committee of leading real estate operators and builders, Samuel Levy, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Building Fund announced. Harry Fischel has been chosen chairman of the Building committee.
