An appeal to Jewish writers and intellectuals all over the world to assist the Jewish National Fund in acquiring land in Palestine was decided upon at a conference of Hebrew writers called by the headquarters of the Jewish National Fund held yesterday in Dilb.
M. M. Ussishkin, the director of the Fund, in a speech lasting two hours, dealt with the land problem in Palestine and described the past achievements and the tasks still confronting the Jewish National Fund.
The conference adopted a resolution pledging the writers to work for the fund. A special committee was elected.
