Jews in White Russia who attend the synagogue, will have to import Taleisim, the traditional religious mantle worn according to Orthodox Jewish custom during the services, owing to the action of the White Russian government closing the only Taleisim factory in the city of Drubrovna.

The Government has assigned the sum of 60,000 roubles for the factory on condition that it cease making Taleisim and manufacture other articles instead. The factory was reorganized as a workingmen’s company and employs six hundred Jewish workmen.
