Belgian Jews Honor Memory of Late Cardinal Mercier

The death of Cardinal Mercier, humanitarian and leader in the Catholic Church, was mourned by the Jewish communities in Belgium yesterday. Services were held in all the synagogues in Belgium in memory of the Cardinal.

Dr. Ginsburger, the chief Rabbi of Belgium, sent an expression of condolence to Malines from the Jewish community.
