League of Jewish Youth Formed in Hungary

A League of Jewish Youth in Hungary, to combat the numerus clausus limiting the number of Jewish students in the Hungarian universities, was established here.

Initiative in the founding of the league was taken by Joseph. Vaszonyi, Jr., the son of Joseph Vaszonyi, Liberal deputy and former minister in the Hungarian cabinet.

A proclamation Issued by the League urges the Jewish youth to conduct a courageous fight against the discriminating law of the numerus clausus.
